I've never posted a facebook status. However, I've always been interested by the fact there is an 'is.' Alison is...(studying, eating, sleeping, driving, playing, dancing...). Today, I thought about putting up simply 'Alison is.' Like Alison exists. Currently she is alive and breathing and she is Alison. No one else. Nothing more. Nothing less. It reminds me of one of my favorite things in the Bible. I love when God says 'I am.' God exists. He is alive and moving and real. No one else is God. God is. Simplicity at its best: all-encompassing.
